PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect movement of an object more simply and more precisely. SOLUTION: An azimuth detector 2 sweeps light of a two-dimensional pattern in a predetermined space. Reflectors 3-1 and 3-2 are mounted as detection targets at predetermined positions of an object and reflect the two-dimensional pattern light radiated from the azimuth detector 2 into a direction opposite to the direction in which the light has been radiated. The azimuth detector 2 detects the light reflected by the reflectors 3-1 and 3-2. The azimuth detector 2 calculates angles in a horizontal direction and in a vertical direction of the reflectors 3-1 and 3-2 based on a signal of the reflected light.
