<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispose a monitor circuit that can perform accurate delay monitoring without increasing the area of a semiconductor device and has a versatility. <P>SOLUTION: The monitor circuit 100 that includes a delay circuit 102 configured in a tree form with a plurality of elements and wires, a data supply circuit 101 for supplying a determination signal to the delay circuit 102, and a delay evaluation circuit 103 connected to the end point of the delay circuit 102 to evaluate a delayed state of the determination signal is employed. At least either one of a source voltage of a semiconductor circuit, a substrate voltage, or a clock frequency is controlled by the output of the delay evaluation circuit 103. By disposing the circuits that constitute the monitor circuit 100 in spaces within the semiconductor device by using a layout tool, very accurate delay monitoring is performed while at the sane time suppressing an increase in area of the semiconductor device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
