PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus capable of surely obtaining images useful for diagnosing and suppressing invalid exposure to a subject. SOLUTION: The X-ray diagnostic apparatus includes: an X-ray tube 4 for applying X-rays; an image receiver 6; posture information acquisition means 7 for acquiring a first image indicating the first posture of the subject and a second image indicating the second posture of the subject; and notification means 40 for notifying of information based on the result of comparing the first posture and second posture of the subject.
