PURPOSE:To reduce the effects of adjacent tracks and to record and reproduce information with high density by making the 1st and 2nd thin film layers having their refractive indexes and coefficients of absorption varying by heating different in spectral characteristics of the light reflection factor between both thin film layers. CONSTITUTION:Both the 1st and 2nd information recording layers 14a and 14b have their refractive indexes and coefficients of absorption varying by heating. Under such conditions, the spectral characteristics of the light reflection factor are different between both layers 14a and 14b. Then the reflection factor of the layer 14b varies with a waveform where the layer 14a has no change of the reflection factor before and after the heating. While the reflection factor of the layer 14a varies with a waveform where the layer 14b has no change of the reflection factor respectively. In such a way, no effect is produced from the adjacent tracks in a reproduction mode. In such a way, the record/ reproduction of information with high density is attained. |
