PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly move a press roller along the outer surface of a thread member and to press-bond the tread member to a molded article by pressing it in accordance with the shape of the outer surface. SOLUTION: The molded article H is supported by a support 2 of a tire manufacturing apparatus 1 for molding an unvulcanized tire, the tread member 91 is wound onto the outer periphery of the molded article H and arranged, and the support 2 is rotated. A pair of the press rollers 20 which a press-bonding device 10 has is pressed to the outer periphery of the rotating tread member 91, the pair of press rollers 20 is moved in the width direction of the tread member 91 and rolled, and the tread members 91 are pressed in turn to be press-bonded to the molded article H. A plurality of spheres 21 rotatable in an optional direction are arranged over the whole of the circumferential directions of the periphery of the press roller 20.
