PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system capable of obtaining the circumferential illuminance of a slave unit and performing the automatic correction of an image while reducing power consumption by a solar cell. SOLUTION: The intercom system is provided with: an entrance slave unit with a camera equipped with the camera for imaging a visitor, and a function to call a resident; and a sitting room master unit which is used to be connected with the entrance slave unit with the camera and equipped with a monitor displaying a camera of the entrance slave unit with the camera and a function to answer a calling from the entrance slave unit with the camera. The entrance slave unit with the camera is provided with: a solar cell panel for power generation; an electric energy measurement means for measuring the generated electric energy of the solar cell panel; and an illuminance measurement means for measuring illuminance surrounding the entrance slave unit with the camera based on generated electric energy measured by the electric energy measurement means.
