PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the effect of suppressing the deformation of a cab, by exerting the function of absorbing energy of a lateral load when machinery topples over. SOLUTION: In this construction machinery such as a hydraulic excavator, a boom of a working attachment is arranged on either of the right and left sides of the cab into which an operator gets. A load transfer member 13, which transfers the lateral load, acting on the cab 4 when the machinery topples over, to the boom 5 as a load bearing member, is mounted on the lateral surface of the boom in the state of being elastically deformable in such a manner that a point to be attached to the boom serves as a supporting point. The load transfer member 13 is provided with a protrusive piece 19; and a clearance c is formed between the protrusive piece 19 and a left end surface 8a of a top plate 8 of the boom.
