PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium material having high strength and excellent workability. SOLUTION: In the titanium material formed of a titanium original material composed of ≤0.60 mass% iron content and ≤0.15% mass% oxygen content and the balance titanium with inevitable impurities, the titanium material has a worked structure formed by subjecting to the work accompanied with a plastic deformation, and a recrystallized structure formed by being annealed after working. The titanium material is formed so that the average grain diameter of the crystallized grains in the recrystallized structure is 1-5 μm, and the area of non-recrystallized part possessed in the cross-sectional area is >0% to ≤30%.
