Prepare a dimensionally stable polymeric foam article by affixing first and second polymeric foams together in a layered orientation to produce an article having a thickness of at least 50 millimeters wherein at least the first polymeric foam contains an infrared absorbent and is prepared using a blowing agent containing carbon dioxide.
