The system (1) has an L-shaped base profile (2) with a floor sided base profile-side piece (3) and a wall sided base profile-side piece (4), where an L-shaped cover profile (5) covers the base profile under formation of a cable channel (23). The cover profile is connected with the base profile by a detachable plug connection. The connection is designed as a pivot connection (14) at a free end of the floor sided base profile-side piece so that the cover profile is foldable and pivotable from an open position of the channel into a closed position. End caps are screwed with the base profile.
