FIELD: instrument making. ^ SUBSTANCE: liquid-crystal panel is provided with controlled viewing angle, and in the panel the polarised light linearly enters the layer of liquid crystals. Then, on the layer of liquid crystals, on the light output side from layer of liquid crystals there provided is polarising plate passing only the light component leaving the layer of liquid crystals; at that, this component is parallel to polarisation axis linearly relative to the polarised light which entered the layer of liquid crystals. Molecules of liquid crystals, which are contained in the layer of liquid crystals, are inclined in the direction parallel or perpendicular to polarisation axis of linearly polarised light which entered the layer of liquid crystals. Besides, electrode (26) is provided so that two or more various voltages can be simultaneously applied to the layer of liquid crystals. ^ EFFECT: homogeneity of screening effect is improved. ^ 10 cl, 12 dwg |
