INJECTION MOLD, PLASTIC OPTICAL ELEMENT, OPTICAL SCANNER, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection mold suppressing the internal strain at a place corresponding to a support member of a slit-like ventilation port in a plastic optical element to be molded, and to provide a plastic optical element, an optical scanner, and an image forming apparatus.

SOLUTION: In the injection mold 10, a cavity filled with a resin material to mold the plastic optical element is demarcated by a plurality of molding surfaces and a plurality of the molding surfaces include optical surface molding surfaces 1a and 1b for molding optical surfaces on a molded article by at least one transfer and a non-optical surface molding surface 2a provided with the slit-like ventilation port 4 opened into a slit for ejecting gas to the resin material in the cavity during molding. One or more support members 4b holding slit width are provided to the opening part of the slit-like ventilation port 4 and the non-optical surface molding surface 2a having the slit-like ventilation port 4 has an auxiliary ventilation port 5 for ejecting the gas to the resin material in the cavity during molding near the support members 4b.
