<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a large load is applied to relay nodes used in communication between two basic networks communicating with each other at mutually different frequencies, so that power consumption or the like becomes large. <P>SOLUTION: In a radio communication method, the relay nodes are provided in one direction from a first basic network to a second basic network and also in a reverse direction. In each relay node, frequency conversion is performed, thus interrupting communication in each direction.
