<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid jetting apparatus in which a position control range of a medium is made as short as possible, and to provide a fluid jetting method. <P>SOLUTION: The fluid jetting apparatus has a control part which repeatedly performs an image forming operation of making a fluid jetted while moving in a moving direction a first nozzle array in which first nozzles for jetting a first fluid are arranged in a predetermined direction and a second nozzle array in which second nozzles for jetting a second fluid are arranged in the predetermined direction, and a transporting operation of transporting the medium in a predetermined direction to the nozzle array. In the case of forming a second image by the second fluid on a first image in a different image forming operation after forming the first image by the first fluid in an image forming operation, the control parts set the first nozzle to be a nozzle located on the upstream side in the predetermined direction from the second nozzle at the time of normal image formation, and sets the first nozzle for forming the first image to be a nozzle located on the lower stream side in the predetermined direction than the first nozzle for forming the first image at the time of normal image formation when the image is formed to an upper end of the medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
