PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance and programmable image processing apparatus in which a memory IO bottleneck is canceled. SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 200 includes: image processing parts 211-214 for executing specific processing with a partition image (e.g., an image of one line unit in an image) as a unit; temporary storage parts 231-233 for temporarily storing data with the partition image as a unit; selectors 221-224 for selectively connecting the image processing parts 211-214 and the temporary storage parts 231-233; and a register 225 for controlling switching of the selectors 221-224. In accordance with external control, the register 225 controls switching of the selectors 221-224, thereby specifying an execution order of the image processing parts 211-214 while varying a connection form of the image processing parts 211-214 and the temporary storage parts 231-233.
