PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier roller, a carrying device and a printer for reducing weight and cost, and efficiently and inexpensively forming a medium support area. SOLUTION: This carrying device 20 has the carrier roller 15 formed in a cylindrical shape (a roller body 16) by butting a pair of end surfaces 61a and 61b by press working, and forming the medium support area 50 for supporting a medium P in at least a part in the longitudinal direction by rolling work.
