PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more reliably reduce density unevenness of an image formed by a thermal head than heretofore. SOLUTION: The parts (sensors 106, 111, 114, 115 and 116) different from the thermal head 109 are used as loads of a DC/DC converter 126 for a head so that a load current flows from the DC/DC converter 126 for the head at a time other than when the thermal head 109 is driven.
