PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chewing gum composition imparting a creamy and/or juicy perception during chewing. SOLUTION: The chewing gum composition includes (a) a gum-based composition comprising (i) an elastomer containing 20-40 wt.% styrene-butadiene rubber based on the amount of the gum-based composition, (ii) a gum resin or an ester thereof presenting at least in 10 wt.% based on the amount of the gum-based composition, and (iii) a fat having 15-60°C melting point and presenting in 20-50 wt.% based on the amount of the gum-based composition, (b) at least one flavor, (c) at least one sweetener, and in addition, a polyvinyl acetate having 10,000-60,000 g/mole molecular weight or a combination of a polyvinyl acetate having 10,000-15,000 g/mole with a polyvinyl acetate having 80,000-100,000 g/mole.
