PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stick composition having higher moisture retaining properties. SOLUTION: The adhesion amount of the composition to the lips in application to the lips is increased by making the cross section of the stick composition into a noncircular shape (especially elliptical shape). Consequently, the water content applied to the lips is increased, the water transpiration from the lips is reduced and the moisture retaining properties in application of the stick composition to the lips are effectively improved.
