PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus optimum for control of calibration processing. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus performing the calibration processing for maintaining image forming quality, a calibration condition storage means stores identification information of paper feeding cassettes and conditions to perform the calibration processing in mutual association, and a condition acquisition means acquires a condition to perform the calibration processing based on: identification information of a paper feeding cassette housing printing paper for a printing instruction given by a user; and the conditions to perform the calibration processing stored in the calibration condition storage means.
