The system has a pressure reservoir (3) for storing a gaseous fuel, and a valve device (4) supplying the fuel for a power supply unit i.e. fuel cell. An exhaust gas flow is diverted from the supply unit, and is indirectly thermally contacted with the valve device. A recovery device recovers the liquid from the exhaust gas, and is arranged in a direction of flow of the exhaust gas flow with respect to indirect thermal contact of the valve device. The valve device is directly connected with a line element (8) by a heat conducting element for the gas flow.
