PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing device for quickly preparing exposure patterns including different identification patterns in each printed circuit board.

SOLUTION: The drawing device performs in advance conversion of wiring patterns into bit map images, and compression on the basis of a ratio of resolutions between the wiring pattern and an identification pattern after converting characters or figures of all combinations to be used in exposure from drawing commands of the identification pattern into the bit map image. The drawing device executes the following processing steps: using the bit map images of compressed characters or figures in accordance with drawing commands of the identification patters to generate a bit map image of the identification pattern; extending the bit map images of the identification patterns; and combining the bit map images of the wiring patterns and the bit map images of the identification patterns for each printed circuit board.
