PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller or the like restraining a medium from being affected by excessive heat with a clearance and duplication of strokes, taking a thickness of the stroke and a character size into consideration. SOLUTION: This controller 100 for transmitting intermittently energy while changing a transmission position, to control a device for recording visible information on the medium, includes a drawing information storage means 41 for storing drawing information of a line segment included in a line image of a character, a digit, a symbol and the like; a drawing information acquiring means 102 for acquiring the drawing information of the line image serving as a drawing object, from the drawing information storage means 41; a thickness information acquiring means 103 for acquiring thickness information of assigning a thickness of the line image; a duplicated line segment detecting means 104 for detecting the paired line segments with a drawing range overlapped each other including the thickness of the line segment, based on the thickness information and the drawing information; and a drawing information regulating means 105 for dividing or shortening at least one of the paired line segments with the drawing range overlapped each other, not to be overlapped each other.
