PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter in which an LED and an identification resistance are mounted, the adapter having improved LED heat radiation efficiency while securing an LED mounting area. SOLUTION: The adapter 6 includes: an adapter body 11 to be removably attached to the distal end of an insertion tube of an endoscope; a substrate 13 whose rear surface is fixed to the distal end surface of the adapter body 11; the LED 15 mounted on the front surface of the substrate 13; the identification resistance 19 mounted on the rear surface of the substrate 13; and a probe pin 30 for guiding power to the LED 15 from the side of the insertion part.
