METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ENDLESS BELT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy release of a coating film from a coating die in manufacturing an endless belt by centrifugal molding.

SOLUTION: A recessed part 4 is formed in the inner peripheral surface of the coating die 1. The recessed part 4 is formed at a position corresponding to the end in the axial direction of the coating film 2 to be formed in the inner peripheral surface of the coating die 1. The recessed part 4 is filled with a filling part material 3 vaporizing at a vaporization temperature higher than the drying temperature for drying solidification of the coating film 2. The coating film 2 is formed in the coating die 1 by centrifugal molding. The coating die 1 is heated to dry and solidify the coating film 2 and then heated further to a temperature equal to or higher than the vaporization temperature so that the filling part material 3 vaporizes and dissipates from the recessed part 4. A clearance is produced between the end portion of the coating film 2 and the inner peripheral surface of the coating die 1. Utilizing the clearance, the coating film 2 is released from the coating die 1.
