PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the curing of a sealing material near a cull part by heating a plunger while the composition of the plunger is kept in a simple state. SOLUTION: A sealing device 100, in which the sealing material (resin tablets 160) is melted and injected into a cavity 118 formed in a mold 104 to seal an article to be sealed placed on a substrate 102 arranged in the cavity 118, is equipped with: a coil 148 laid in a pocket 144 formed on a side of a pot 142 of the mold 104 in which the resin tablets are arranged; and the plunger 150 which is movably arranged in the pot 142, presses the resin tablets 160, and is induction-heated by an alternating current passing through the coil 148.
