<p>Disclosed is an MVA liquid crystal display device wherein each pixel comprises at least one first electrode (21), the first electrode (21) has a first corner portion including a first edge parallel to the row direction and a second edge parallel to the column direction, and a first substrate comprises an electrode layer (for example, an auxiliary capacitance-facing electrode (18a)) overlapping with at least part of the first edge and at least part of the second edge of the first corner portion. The MVA liquid crystal display device capable of suppressing a reduction in display quality caused by the alignment disorder of liquid crystal molecules in the vicinity of the edge of the first electrode is provided.</p> |
