A method for periodic Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) feedback for carrier aggregation is disclosed by the present invention, which includes: a User Equipment (UE) traverses in turn, according to a predetermined sorting rule, all the Bandwidth Parts (BPs) in the BP set of the downlink component carriers; and based on the best subband CQIs of all the BPs obtained by traverse, by using combined feedback, the UE feeds back at the same time multiple subband CQIs, constructs a CQI report, and feeds it back to the base station. A device for periodic CQI feedback for carrier aggregation is also disclosed by the present invention. The method and device for CQI feedback in the present invention reduce the downlink scheduling delay during periodic CQI feedback, and improve the speed and efficiency of CQI feedback. A method for reducing scheduling blocking during periodic CQI feedback for carrier aggregation is also disclosed by the present invention. That is, priority levels of all the component carriers are randomized when a UE feeds back subband CQIs.
