<p>Provided is an ultrasonic-motor rotor that can easily suppress squeaking sounds from being generated, and that is also easy to manufacture; and an ultrasonic motor that uses the ultrasonic-motor rotor. The ultrasonic-motor rotor (50) is provided with a supporting member (53), and a plate-formed contacting member (54) that makes contact with an elastic body (34). The supporting member (53) has a supporting member body (53a), and a first and a second protruding sections (53b, 53c). The supporting member body (53a) has an opposing face (53a1) that faces the elastic body (34). Each of the first and second protruding sections (53b, 53c) elongates from the opposing face (53a1) of the supporting member body (53a) towards the elastic body (34) side. The contacting member (54) is supported in separation from the opposing face (53a1) of the supporting member body (53a), by the first protruding section (53b) and the second protruding section (53c).</p> |
