PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control apparatus in which an appropriate image quality improving processing is applied when performing multi-screen display of video contents of a plurality of systems. SOLUTION: A control unit 13 controls first and second synthetic units 18 and 22 so as to improve image quality of synthesized video contents in an image quality improving processing unit 21 when performing synthetic processing of video contents of a plurality of systems in the first synthetic unit 18, and so as not to synthesize the video contents in the second synthetic unit 22. The control unit 13 controls the first and the second synthetic units 18 and 22 so as to improve image quality of one of the video contents of the plurality of systems in the image quality improving processing unit 21 when not performing the synthetic processing of the video contents of the plurality of systems in the first synthetic unit 18, and so as to perform the synthesis with the other of the video contents of the plurality of systems in the second synthetic unit 22.
