PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier laminate having superior durability of gas barrier property in a high temperature and high humidity environment. SOLUTION: The gas barrier laminate is formed by laminating a silicon oxide film 2 on both or one face of a plastic film base material 1, whereon the elastic modulus of the silicon oxide film calculated by the dynamic viscoelasticity measurement (DMA) is in the range of 60-150 GPa, and the ratio of oxygen to silica (O/Si) is in the range of 1.6-2.0, and thus, degradation in the gas barrier property can be suppressed in the high temperature and high humidity environment.
