摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve noise resistance while preventing increase in power consumption in an electro-optic device having a memory circuit holding data signals in a pixel circuit. SOLUTION: The memory circuit holding the data signals is arranged in the pixel circuit. A display data writing period is a period for performing display based on a written data signal while writing a data signal in the pixel circuit. A display data holding period is a period for performing display based on a data signal held in the memory circuit while stopping writing of a data signal in the pixel circuit. When the display data holding period is started (T1), a switching circuit sets power supply potentials (VDH, VDD) to be supplied to power lines for a driving circuit to a second constant potential (3V) lower than first constant potentials (12V, 6V) to be supplied to the power lines in the display data writing period. Before the display data holding period ends (T2), the switching circuit changes the power supply potential to be supplied to the power lines from the second constant potential to the first constant potentials.
