PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stir fuel without excessively operating an electric feed pump; and to decrease deviation between an after-feeding fuel property value used for controlling an engine and a fuel property value of fuel actually fed from a fuel tank to a combustion chamber. SOLUTION: In the internal combustion engine corresponding to plural kinds of fuel having different fuel properties, mixing of the fuel before-feeding remaining in the fuel tank and the fuel after-feeding is promoted by stirring through the operation of the electric feeding pump after the completion of fuel feeding and before starting of the engine. Prescribed time T1 when the electric feed pump is operated is calculated based on the fuel remaining amount in the fuel tank after feeding and the before-feeding fuel property value and the after-feeding fuel property value.
