PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire effectively reducing cavernous resonance without reducing productivity. SOLUTION: At least one projection 10 projected from a tire inner surface 9 is formed in a belt lower region of the tire inner surface 9. A height H of the projection 10 from the tire inner surface 9 is set to 0.2-1.0 mm, the volume of the projection 10 per 100 mm<SP>2</SP>of a projection forming region is set to 15-50 mm<SP>3</SP>, and the surface area of the tire inner surface 9 including the projection 10 per 100 mm<SP>2</SP>of the projection forming region is set to 125 mm<SP>2</SP>or more.
