PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer dispersion-type liquid crystal element which is excellent in the adhesiveness to a film substrate and maintains the white cloudiness even when curved, and is drivable at a low electric voltage, and to provide a liquid crystal composition for use in the same. SOLUTION: This polymer dispersion-type liquid crystal composition contains as the first component at least one compound expressed by general formula (I-1), as the second component at least one specific acrylate-based or acrylamide-based compound, as the third component at least one nonpolymerizable liquid crystal compound, and as the fourth component at least one photoinitiator; and there are provided a dimming film using a composition for use in this polymer dispersion-type liquid crystal element; and a dimming glass in which the dimming film is sandwiched with two sheets of glass substrates. These are useful in that these are excellent in the adhesiveness to film substrates, maintain the white cloudiness even when curved, and are drivable at a low electric voltage.
