PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp a failure state at its time, without requiring a maintenance terminal, when any failure is caused. SOLUTION: A landing hall display device 13 is connected to a main control device 11 via a transmission cable 12. The landing hall display device 13 is provided with an error code transmission request switch 23 for requesting the transmission of an error code to the main control device 11 when failure is caused, a memory 17 for previously storing various error codes and display data for visualizing an actual failure state and a failure place indicated by these error codes, and a transmission control CPU 21 for reading out and displaying the display data corresponding to the error code from the memory 17 on a predetermined place when receiving the error code transmitted from the main control device 11 in response to a transmission request.
