PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of representing an object appearing in an image, in particular, used for search, in a multimedia database. SOLUTION: A plurality of view descriptors of the object is drawn out, each descriptor corresponds to each different view of the object, and each view corresponds to each view of the object appearing in the image.
