PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain small type compactness and cost reduction of a carrying system, by performing precise correction processing to a curl generated in a card, even when performing one-sided printing by a card printer having the double-sided printing function. SOLUTION: When constituting this card printer 1 having a bidirectional carrying mechanism part 2 capable of carrying a card C in both directions of the forward direction Df or the reverse direction Dr, a printing processing part 3 for printing on the carried card C, a reversal processing part 4 for reversing the obverse-reverse surfaces of the card C printed on one surface by this printing processing part 3 and a card ejecting part 5 for ejecting the card C printed on both surfaces by the printing processing part 3, the reversal processing part 4 is arranged in a rear stage of the printing processing part 3, and the card ejecting part 5 is arranged in a rear stage of the reversal processing part 4, and the reversal processing part 4 is provided with a decurl processing part 6 having a roller mechanism 6r also serving as the carrying function of carrying the card C and the correction function of correcting the curl of the card C.
