The plasma display has aluminum layers 12, 13 vaccumdeposited on the tops of dielectric glass layers and in parallel to electrodes. Etchings are chemically made on the tops of magnesium oxide layers. On applying alternate pulse voltage to between the electrodes, electrons are discharged from the surfaces of electrodes, aluminum and magnesium-oxide layers to be applied to a gas cell and collide and excite neons and argons to prouce reddish yellow illuminance of 6000-7000A. |
