<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic arithmetic element for facilitating input of information and arithmetic operation. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic arithmetic element 100 is configured to calculate information by the direction of magnetization of a plurality of magnetic materials each of which has an axis of easy magnetization, and provided with: a first magnetic material 101 as one of magnetic materials; a second magnetic material 102 arranged, as one of the magnetic materials, in the neighborhood of the first magnetic material 101 whose magnetizing direction is determined based on the magnetizing direction of the first magnetic material 101; an external magnetic field generation means 120 for applying, to a plurality of magnetic materials, an external magnetic field as a magnetic field to activate the energy state of the first magnetic material 101 and the second magnetic material 102 so as not to determine the magnetizing directions of the first magnetic material 101 and the second magnetic material 102; a first input means 121 for determining the magnetizing direction of the first magnetic material 101, and a detection means 122 for detecting the magnetizing direction of the second magnetic material 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
