<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornamental member which is formed by fixing a powder with high optical reflectance on a metal substrate by a dark color material, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The ornamental member 900 has the metal substrate 500, a dark color underlayer 350 formed on the substrate and the powder 450 with high optical reflectance dispersed on the underlayer. The manufacturing method includes the steps of: projecting the powder with high optical reflectance onto the surface of the metal substrate 500, while moving; thermal-spraying the dark color material to the region adjacent to the region to which the powder has been projected, while moving; and fixing the powder by the dark color material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
