<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of photoelectric conversion in a photoelectric conversion element. <P>SOLUTION: A first electrode 8 and a second electrode are disposed with an electrolyte interposed between them to form this photoelectric conversion element.
