PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide composition excellent in toughness, low water absorptivity and rigidity and, in addition, highly excellent in heat resistance. SOLUTION: The polyamide composition comprises 100 pts.mass of (A) a polyamide prepared by polymerizing a monomer containing at least 25 mol% alicyclic monomer and 0.001-5 pts.mass of (B) a nucleating agent.
