<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately correct the inclination of a medium, while miniaturizing a device. <P>SOLUTION: This medium carrying device (SH) has a butting member (Rg) arranged between an adjusting carrying member (Rr) and an image recording area (Q4) and movably supported between an opening position and a butting position, a contact-separation control means (C7A) for moving the adjusting carrying member (Rr) to a separate position when carrying members (Ra, 27) carry a medium (S) and moving the adjusting carrying member (Rr) to a contact position when the medium (S) is aligned by butting against a butting member (Rg), and an opening-closing control means (C8) for moving the butting member (Rg) to the butting position after the medium (S) passes and moving the butting member (Rg) to the opening position when the adjusting carrying member (Rr) moves to the contact position, and carries the medium (S) up to the image recording area (Q4) only by the adjusting carrying member (Rr). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
