<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vertically pressurize a surface on which a break bar abuts, in breaking a substrate of a brittle material having a scribing line by using the break bar along the scribing line. <P>SOLUTION: The break bar 10 is provided, on its upper end, with a pair of break blades 15, 16 each having a linear edge part, and with elastic members 12, 13 on the side of the break blades. When the break bar 10 is protruded to the substrate of the brittle material having a scribing line, the break blades come in contact with it after the elastic members 12, 13 on both sides are abutted thereon, so that no break blades obliquely pressurize the contact face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
