<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flare cap capable of being easily removed and capable of securing the liquid tightness and connection strength of a medical tube, excellent in the moldability. <P>SOLUTION: The flare cap 1 has a bottomed double-cylinder structure to cover the distal end of the medical tube C to protect the tube till the tube is connected to an object to be connected. The flare cap 1 includes an outer cylindrical part 10 to protect the outer surface OS of the distal end, an inner cylindrical part 20 inserted into the tube C to be reamed toward the bottom so that the outer diameter is larger than the inner diameter of the tube on the bottom, and the bottom 30 to integrally connect the outer cylindrical part 10 and the inner cylindrical part 20 in such a state that the inner radius of the outer cylindrical part and the outer radius of the inner cylindrical part are intervals of at least the wall thickness of the tube C.
