PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment in which, when identification information registered in an address book is changed, a user is enabled to recognize the fact that first identification information has been changed into second identification information. SOLUTION: The portable electronic equipment includes a display section 21, a storage section 30 for storing an address book in which first identification information can be registered, and a control section for displaying the first identification information on the display section 21 under a first display mode. When second identification information is registered in the address book in place of the first identification information, the control section displays the second identification information on the display section 21 under a second display mode different from the first display mode.
