PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight measuring apparatus, capable of easily identifying a load sensor where a failure of span failure has occurred and obtaining a normal output signal from normal load sensors by excluding the defective sensor. SOLUTION: In the weight measuring apparatus for measuring a weight of a measured object by disposing the measured object on a weighing table 3, of which four corners are supported by load sensors 4-7, the output signals of the load sensors when the measured object is placed in a stationary state, at a first predetermined position on the weighing table and output signals of the load sensors, when the measured object is placed in a stationary state at a second predetermined position on the weighing table are obtained individually, and an abnormal load sensor is identified, by computing using output signals of a set of load sensors adjacent each other among the load sensors and computing using output signals of another set of load sensors adjacent each other containing one load sensor among the set of load sensors.
