<p>A device for cross protection is provided in the present invention. The device includes: a service unit source, for mapping an optical data unit (ODUk) signal into the same time slots of n data buses of resembling optical transport network (OTN) frame structure (OTUxG), and obtaining m+n OTUxG data through protecting encoding, then sending them to a combination cross unit; a combination cross unit, for splitting m+n OUTxG data in the time slot and sending them to the service unit sink after recombination; a service unit sink, for protecting decoding for m+n OTUxG data, resuming n OTUxG data, and extracting corresponding ODUk signal from the same time slots of n OTUxG data. The present invention also provides a method for cross protection. The present invention realizes the cross scheduling of ODUk (k=0,1,2,3) levels, improves the processing efficiency, saves the resources, and also makes the use more flexible and convenient.</p> |
