PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner of an electric automobile, which restrains useless electric power consumption, while adding the pre-air-conditioning function to an inexpensive air conditioner. SOLUTION: This air conditioner includes an air-conditioning controller 50 for controlling ON/OFF of the power source of a manual air conditioner 30, manually-operating respective switches 32-36, a receiving antenna 51 for receiving an ON/OFF signal for turning on and off the power source of the manual air conditioner 30, an air-conditioning remote controller 52 for transmitting the ON/OFF signal to the receiving antenna 51, and a blowout port temperature sensor 49 for detecting the temperature of air flowing in a blowout port 39. The air-conditioning controller 50 controls ON of the power source of the manual air conditioner 30 based on an ON signal, and controls OFF of the power source of the manual air conditioner 30 by recognizing a change state of the detecting temperature of the blowout port temperature sensor 49 as an abnormal condition when the detected temperature by the blowout port temperature sensor 49 after 3 minutes pass, is 20°C (in summer) to 30°C (in winter).
